THCa vs Delta-9 THC: What's the Difference?
The short version: THCa flower is federally legal hemp until it's heated, at which point it converts to Delta-9 THC.
THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the raw, non-intoxicating acid form of THC found in living and freshly harvested cannabis. It only converts to intoxicating Delta-9 THC when heated - a process called decarboxylation. That's why THCa flower is federally distinct from marijuana under the 2018 Farm Bill: it's measured by its Delta-9 THC content on a dry-weight basis, which stays at or below 0.3%.

The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp and its derivatives, defining hemp by its Delta-9 THC content rather than its THCa. Because THCa is a separate, non-intoxicating acid that only becomes Delta-9 THC when heated, compliant THCa flower is classified as hemp and can be sold and shipped nationwide. Our partner farms are fully hemp-licensed operations and members of the National Hemp Association, and every pound ships with a Certificate of Analysis showing it falls under the 0.3% Delta-9 limit.

No - you can mix and match across strains and tiers to hit the 5 lb price break. Once the pounds in your order add up to 5 or more, every pound automatically gets its lower 5+ lb price.
